Bedford Girls’ School

As the HR Manager, I decided that we should start moving away from TES as a subscription package, as it was costing us thousands for our recruitment needs. I was astounded by the cost of this particular job board. As part of our D&I strategy, I began to investigate alternative recruitment media alternatives and a new approach to recruitment. With soccialy, I learned that they could use their AI to target niche audiences that would allow them to pinpoint a certain demographic through strategic and subtle social media ad placements. This ability to nano-target, coupled with the fact they could save us significant amounts of money led to a change in the school’s recruitment strategy. I noticed that despite a reduced number of bulk applicants, the quality of applications remained high; the majority of applicants being able to be shortlisted for interviews leading to successful appointments. Even at this early stage, I would recommend that schools consider utilising socially as part of their recruitment strategy.

Dionne Morrison HR Manager

High Tunstall College of Science

In 2019 we decided that we no longer wanted to keep paying for overpriced recruitment sites that were failing to deliver the quality of candidates we needed. High Tunstall College of Science are proud to be a tech savvy school with outstanding facilities and a desire to attract candidates who are dedicated to personal wellbeing, committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and as a forward thinking schools wanted to find alternatives to dying job boards. Soccialy stood out as a company who aligned with our own values. Since we moved away from Tes and adopted Soccialy’s smart AI Technology to recruit we have tracked that 94% of our vacancies have been filled first time and we often shortlist several outstanding candidates. For example, we recent interviewed 8 candidates for a Maths Teacher role and quality was exactly what was needed. We are really pleased with the quality of the candidates via soccialy but also the customer service they provide. We have 2 dedicated account managers who share great insight on recruiting candidates in today’s world and making sure High Tunstall stay ahead of the competition. I would be more than happy to recommend soccialy.

Harton Academy

Since working with soccialy, we have really appreciated the support they have provided in how to best tackle our recruitment problem. Using the traditional recruitment methods, we were seeing a drop in quality applications and recruitment agencies were sending us the same old candidates. This is when we reached out to soccialy because we recognised that, as a tech savvy and forward thinking school, we needed to update our approach. We have been using soccialy technology now for 2 years. We have always received good applications but to stay ahead of the competition and remain up to date for 2022 we have switched to Video advertising, and since the switch a month ago, the results have been outstanding. We have noticed a difference in the number of quality applicants applying for our job vacancies. Using video advertising not only promotes our vacancies but also to promote our school as an employer of choice. We would highly recommend using video content to all new and existing customers at soccialy.

John Gibson Human Resources Manager

Wildern Academy Trust

We have historically used job boards to attract candidates, but we started to notice more and more vacancies were going unfilled and of those who applied only a small percentage of successfully appointed applicants came from TES. As a growing multi academy trust we wanted to find alternatives so we could be more proactive in our approach to recruiting staff. Soccialy’s technology stood out! Their technology has enabled Wildern Multi Academy Trust to reach more relevant candidates and motivating them to apply directly via our website, without exposing them to the competition who may also be advertising on a job board. Since adopting Soccialy’s tech we have seen applications more than double, with 93% of our job vacancies being filled first time. Soccialy is a great partner and we are looking forward to their support and expertise for the foreseeable future. I would recommend them to any school willing to make progressive changes to the way they go about recruiting.

Fiona Mitchell HR & Payroll Officer

Oakwood School

For more than three years we have successfully used Soccialy to recruit as part of our strategy to reach the candidates that job boards are unable to. Each time we have run a campaign, we have received a good number of high quality applications both for teaching roles and teaching support roles. Recruitment campaigns have always been launched quickly and efficiently, and with the costs being both within our budget expectations and offering very good value. We take advantage of the opportunity to purchase packs of campaigns, again offering very good value and with a generous time horizon in which to use the campaigns. The Service provided by our Account Manager has been excellent, efficient and flexible, and we now regard Soccialy as our trusted partner for all recruitment requirements.

ATLAS Multi-Academy School Trust

As an outstanding trust we have prided ourselves on being innovative in our approach. We have been actively looking for new solutions to enhance our response rates, reduce costs as well as recruit the most outstanding talent. Soccialy’s machine-learning technology really stood out above the competition. The best part of using soccialy is that some of the applicants we received from the campaign we ran with them were not even looking for new roles, so we have had a great shortlist of quality candidates. Since implementing this approach and streamlining of our application process, the candidate journey has been more enjoyable, and we have seen an increase in quality candidates applying directly. Their dashboard tool also enables us to monitor and track performance with total transparency. I would highly recommend soccialy as a modern and cost-effective approach. It attracts candidates that normally would not come through job boards or recruitment agencies and lets us recruit them simply and effectively.

Phil O’Neill Trust Business Manager

The Mosslands School

We have been really impressed by the efficiency and customer service we have received from soccialy. We were initially drawn to them because of their forward-thinking strategy in using social media to engage our wider teaching audience, which fits well with our school’s focus on technology and innovation in the curriculum. We have been reassured by the quality and breadth of responses we received from our first major campaign with soccialy, from which we have successfully recruited candidates into key positions across the school. I have no hesitation in recommending their services to any colleague, irrespective of whether they have experienced difficulty recruiting in recent years or not. They provide excellent value for money, attentive personal service and have helped attract outstanding candidates to the school

The process of establishing our needs and providing a solution was insightful. For our school we saw this as an effective way to recruit. The team were knowledgeable, professional, timely and gave honest feedback that would ensure the greatest success for our campaigns. A service I’d highly recommend to other Principals and school leaders.

GEMS Wellington Primary School, Admissions

The process of establishing our needs and providing a solution was insightful. This new approach and new technology can reach the parents that we are unable to reach. For our school we saw this as an effective way to complement our own marketing efforts and improve registrations. The team were knowledgeable, professional, timely and gave honest feedback that would ensure the greatest success for our campaigns. A service I’d highly recommend to other Principals and school leaders

Lochinver House

The May Open Morning had a visible increase in visitors and the campaigns have culminated in a 40% increase in parents attending our September Open Morning. We also noted that we had interest from a wider geographical area than ever before. It is hugely satisfying to be able to measure the success of the campaigns via hard data, as opposed to printed advertising where we haven’t been able to. At Lochinver House, we are very pleased with the way that soccialy is able to use all the different Social Media platforms and Google. It’s coordinated and targeted in a way that generates real results for schools and best of all it’s all managed for us!

Anne Meir Director of Marketing and Admissions

Dr Challoner's Grammar School

I signed up to the soccialy approach as they have a very creative solution which enables us to get that visibility. A real advantage is the way that they are able to create sponsored social media campaigns that actively target the teachers we are looking for and bring them to our application process. This is a cost effective service and ensures that we are seen by teachers whenever and wherever they look, either on the internet or social media. I am happy to recommend TTJ and work they do. The whole process is easy and our jobs are posted across multiple websites and social media. This is a key strategy for recruitment in today’s schools.

David Atkinson Headmaster

Witchford Village College

Social media is an effective channel for us to connect with prospective candidates but we didn’t have the experience, understanding or time to do make all the right social media channels work effectively for us. When we were recommended to use Talented Teacher Jobs they made it simple to use and risk free. Their solution is clever and allows us to reach all the teachers in the market we want to target so that we no longer have to hope and wait for teachers to apply on job boards or use recruitment agencies. We are able to connect with the target audience and make all the right teachers in the area aware of the jobs available. It also enables us to communicate with candidates on the platforms they feel comfortable to use, so comfortable in fact that teachers were recommending others for our roles. They were then directed to our own schools website to apply avoiding competing with other schools in the area. I happily recommend Talented Teacher Jobs as an effective and easy way to use social media to recruit teachers, supporting the new DfE teaching vacancies service. It has helped us save thousands of pounds on recruitment costs.
